Negative pawns positive.

Ever wonder why when A tells B that YOU did something that you would deny to, B believes it; whereas when A tells B about YOU that would agree to, B would not believe it?

Confusing? Let me show you some examples.
1. A: C farted.
B: Shit what the hell?
C: No I didn't!
B: Yes you did.

2. A hits C
C: Who did that?
A: B did.
B: No A did.
C: Screw you B.

Something like that. People tends to believe things that are negative to the third party and not the positive one. Why? Because it's more easier to be negative than positive; let's just leave out criminal acts for now.

It always works during gossiping. If you go to someone and said something like, "Hey! I said something bad about you." They will be unlikely to believe that unless there are at least 2 people gossiping about the third party. People believe that humans don't admit to their wrong doings directly. That's why even if you admit to a crime, polices still investigate. No robber will turn up and say, "Hey it was me who robbed the bank yesterday."

To make it more to-life, A tells B that C like D. C denies but B continues to believe that C like D. It's just a psychological effect that people believe every shit you deny to. Interrogation is to see who denies best, who gives the best innocent look and who the interrogator choose to believe. That's why even if the suspect denies to the crime they did, they are still kept suspects.

I love the movie "the Invention of Lying" where people doesn't lie and denies only to the prosecution that are truly wrong. Damn where is this post getting to..

Well it's life. :)
